More about me!
Who Do I work with:
I work with individuals and folks in relationship who feel the weight of a life that's becoming overwhelming or misaligned — people who are navigating the tension between what the world requires of them and what they actually need to feel fulfilled. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, or burnout, trying hard but finding that despite significant effort, something just isn’t working. That tension shows up differently for everyone — in relationships, in identity, in work, in the body — but the through line is often the same: a sense that something important is being sacrificed to meet expectations that were never really theirs to begin with. My goal is to create a space where we can begin to understand patterns and feelings to craft a life that feels more authentic and responsive to my clients’ values, hopes, and desires.
I have particular experience working with queer, non-monogamous, and relationship anarchist folks, and others whose lives and loves fall outside the "traditional mold and relationships navigating betrayal and infidelity. I also have specific experience working with folks navigating the complexities of interracial relationships. But the thread that connects my clients isn't a label — it's the courage to want something more honest for themselves.
Therapeutic Methodologies
My approach is relational and integrative. While my primary focus is on the quality of the therapeutic relationship and your sense of ease, safety and connection, I draw on various methodologies including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), behavioral therapy, positive psychology and more depending on what you need. IFS helps us give voice to the parts of you that don't often get heard. EMDR brings us into memories and works with trauma held in the body rather than just the mind. Positive psychology keeps an eye on your strengths and what you're moving toward, not just what's weighing you down. Our work together will be collaborative, curious, and tailored to you.
I’ve completed Ackerman Institute for the Family’s rigorous Post-Graduate Clinical Externship in Couples and Family Therapy and I have over 10 years of clinical experience.
